SMW Lighting was founded by Stu Wilson, an experienced lighting professional with more than two decades in the New Zealand lighting industry.
Having worked across both lighting design and technical sales, Stu understands that successful lighting projects require more than achieving target lux levels. Good lighting balances performance, practicality, aesthetics, budget, maintainability and long-term value.
SMW Lighting was established to provide clients with independent lighting advice — free from supplier bias — helping architects, developers, contractors and building owners make informed decisions based on what is right for their project.
